There are a variety of special transaction models on Internet today.
Users buy and sell goods through Internet; Internet is something like a
medium/agent. However, there are interesting disputes of transactions.
The identity of the transactors is hard to confirm; therefore, a great deal
of conflict has happened.
This essay is to analyze the “BeautyMarket Board” on BBS in a
view of power. By this case, the researcher will study the power
enforcement of the board manager and the system operator, and use the
observer-as-participant method to observe the scopes and limits of power.
The results show that power does exist on the board. Besides, the system
operators take coercive measures to dismiss the conflict. |
