篇名 明鄭時期陳永華興學設教事蹟初探

中文摘要   陳永華是明鄭時代經營臺灣最重要的人物,他主政十七年,舉凡政策規劃、開墾荒地、拓展貿易、推展文化教育等,均扮演關鍵的角色。本文透過文獻史料的分析、考證,對陳永華在臺設立學校、施行教化、傳播文化等進行專題討論,並評述教育成效。經由研究發現陳永華延續隋唐以來廟學制發展,取法明代教育體制,並就明鄭政權的特殊性質,創設太學、設立社學,推行科舉取士、考課任官方式,以官方力量推展教育,逐漸在臺灣傳播儒家文化。陳永華的教育措施,鼓舞臺人積極向學,許多士子在臺灣歸附清朝後考取功名。而其創設的孔廟建築,雖經歷數個不同統治政權,但皆在其原始創置基址上逐步整建和擴充,至今仍然繼續發揮崇儒尊道、教化人心和傳播文化的社會教育功能。
英文摘要   Abstract Chen Yonghua is considered one of the most important characters in Cheng regime of Taiwan (1661-1681). This study aims to examine how Chen established schools and civil service examination system in order to promote Confucian education, and also comments on the results of the process based on historical documents. Adapting the ancient templeschool system and the educational system of Ming Dynasty, Chen’s policy measures include: the establishment of the imperial college, the institutionalization of civil service examination and appointment system, etc. Backed up by the power of the government, Confucian education and culture were promoted and expanded in Taiwan. What Chen had done in this period nourished the tradition to study hard for achievement in the civil exam, even after the Qing imperial court took over. The Confucius Temple established by Chen in Tainan was renovated, rebuilt, and annexed again and again at the original site through the years of the following regimes that governed Taiwan. It has played important roles of social education in promoting Confucianism as well as in disseminating the Han culture.
