Web 2.0 technology provides great communication tools to improve the learner autonomy in an efficient way. However, how the Web 2.0 technology used to improve the learners' intercultural competence needs curriculum design innovatively. Therefore, this study aims to integrate the on-line poster project application and encourage the participants to embed their projects with their class Facebook platform to showcase their projects to their audience. The participants are required to leave comments on their classmates' projects and give suggestions to what could be improved. The findings from the analysis of participants' feedback revealed that participants wanted to do the course task again because it was useful for them and they agreed this project helps them to understand inter-cultural differences. Although participants thought the course task was very interesting, they also reflected that this project was challenging and they needed learning supports. To sum up, this study not only practices the Web 2.0 technology used to improve the learners' intercultural competence, but also provides teachers significant information in curriculum design. |
