英文摘要 |
Since the end of the World War II, the United States have taken advantage of Seapower upon the Pacific Ocean. However, due to the numerous maritime disputes in recent years, the exclusively advantageous status has declined, which was caused especially by China's rising naval power. This way, the nature of Seapower in this region may start to change and thus affects the geopolitical situation in the Western Pacific region. The essay is meant to discuss the evolving process of the geopolitical relations about security, space, and power with neighboring countries, based on the theories of Realism and Geopolitics, in an attempt to put forward the analysis of Geopolitics in the Western Pacific. |
